The Mk3 Ford Focus ST was released a decade after the Mk2, and while it was a good model, it was a slight downgrade on the Mk2. The 225bhp, 2.5-litre, five-cylinder engine was replaced with a 246bhp 2.0-litre. On the plus side, it made the Mk3 faster, especially on corners, but when you put your foot down, it lurched all over the road. From my own experience: If your boot gets wet when the car is stationery then the water is coming from above. If your boot only gets wet when the car is moving then the water is coming from below. Mine was the latter. Hi, Blower heater fan is very weak on 1&2 but 3&4 seem to work fine, I was wondering if changing the heater/blower resistor would possibly solve the issue, or any other ideas for a fix. Also any ideas where the resistor on my mk2 56 plate ST is located, Im assuming its behind the glove box. The interior is not differentiated much from the standard Focus ST. It does get standard part-leather black Recaro seats with contrasting Ford Performance blue stitching. Turns out that the wiring loom had gotten wedged between some plastic trim and the frame. When I had a passenger in the car and went over bumps or tight corners the two would rub together 26.7k.
