I suggest you check this ASAP if you suspect DPF issues. 3) Then reset the oil service interval ( which cleared the flashing DPF light that had appeared a week prior ).
In the stock form, the DPF (diesel particulate filter) would regenerate (what they call cleaning itself) every 100 miles or so, or depending on how full it thinks it gets. To do so, the truck automatically goes into regen mode, in which it injects a certain amount of fresh fuel on the exhaust stroke and sending it downstream to the DPF.
